In a nod to my new employer, the largest movie theater chain in Slovenia, today I am publishing a list of the Top 10 all time movie grosses worldwide (Source: IMDB).
In the near future, you can expect to see a bit more film marketing related content, as my focus has shifted since starting in a junior marketing executive role. The only downside is that I have and will continue to have less time to blog since assuming the position.
On a digital marketing note, please feel free to check out Kolosej’s FB page, (one of five I currently administer and in Slovene) which I have taken over as part of my portfolio. The page itself has experienced a 12% surge in followers in the relatively short time that I have been responsible for it, however there is always room for improvement!
So what do you think of the list below? Anyone else surprised that the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise accounts for almost a third of the list? Any movie that should be on here that isn’t (how did E.T. and Star Wars not make the cut?). More than likely the final and much anticipated part of the Harry Potter saga (official trailer from Warner Bros.: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.) will soon rise to the very top of this list. Happy movie watching!
