The Real Madrid players are getting ready for Wednesday’s UEFA Super Cup match against Eintracht Frankfurt (August 10). After winning La Liga and the Champions League, Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping for more trophies this season.
A Leicester City midfielder is being targeted by Real Madrid next summer as part of a Bosman transfer.
By the year 2023, Real Madrid are planning to acquire Youri Tielemans, according to Defensa Central. The Belgian has one year left on his Leicester City contract, but he is yet to sign a new deal with the club. The 25-year-old midfielder is free to depart the King Power Stadium next year if the Foxes do not sign him to a new contract.
Since joining Leicester City in 2019, 25-year-old Youri Tielemans has become a household name. In his 158 appearances for Leicester, the Belgian has scored 24 goals, making him one of the first names on Brendan Rodgers’ team sheet. In the face of some Premier League interest, the North Irishman has stated that the player is not for sale.
However, even though Los Blancos have suddenly joined the fray, they won’t be able to get their hands on him until next summer. In addition to Aurelien Tchouameni, Ancelotti may be interested in signing more midfielders in the coming seasons. There’s a chance that the stalwart Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, and Casemiro three will falter next season after years of consistent play. As part of their succession planning, the La Liga giants recruited Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga from other teams.
